Tbe young iadies of the troupe appeared to good 1 advantage; Miss Kiuuia Wells, doing ! remarkably well for a firt attempt, and, of course, Misi Dl.ie Ciawaon J was all right, beiog an old stager. 01 the gentlemen, the author, J. A. Mc-Knight, Mc-Knight, did very respectably as Pete Burns, the hunter, and 0. F. Whitney threw a good deal of vim into the part of Kit Bird, while youug Margetts gave strong evidence, as the cockney, of being a "chip off the old block." Tho Dolly Vardeu &OLg of Gcjrgio Clawson was a hit, and well received. The flite duet of Messrs. Emery and Whitney was quite artistic, and well .merited the applause ic received.
