Show We publish another "interview" this morning, giving it in full. Mr. ; Baxter' sviews about numerous murders committed by the Mormon church are merely his opinions, very badly founded found-ed and incorrect; and other points are also at variance with facts. But two things arc obvious from this aud other interviews: one, the auxiety of tho press to obtain information on Utah affairs; and another, that a largo number num-ber of people's prejudices are likely to be considerably shaken in the end. Wo recommend our brethren of the eastern east-ern press to continue "interviewing;" and if they fail to elicit sufficient information infor-mation by that means, let them urge congress to send a competent commission commis-sion of unprejudiced gentlemen here, to inquire until they are fully satisfied. |
