Show Frozen to Death. Loss than two weeks ago a young man named John W. Brown, employed at ono of the mines in American Fork canon, left the mine to go to tho smoltor for clothing. Six or seven days passed and he was not heard of, and it was supposed ho hrd perished in the storm. (Jnc of the men working in the canon, having also been passing down about seven days alter Brown had disappeared, disappear-ed, saw a knee slicking out of tho snow, and digging down, uncovered Brown's body. The unfortunate man, it is supposed, had fallen in a fit of weakness, or hud sat down to rest and been frozen to death. His employer, em-ployer, who brought the news to town, starts back (o the canon thia morning with the necessary articles to give the body decent interment. Mr. Brown, wc are informed, was from Quinoy, Illinois. |
