Show Parley's Park. Mr. W. H. Rowland got in from Parley's Park on Wednesday night and returns this morning. He informed us that while Mr. Osborne, of .Little Bock, was out thcro with a small party, they located the Badger mine, and sunk down on it fourteen feet with excellent prospects pros-pects of its proving a good mine. The Wild BUI, about a quarter of a mile from the Flagstaff, is prospecting very nicely. Tho shall is down about twenty eight feet, and good ore is being taken out, of the same quality as the Flagstaff yields. A new district has been formed, known as the Howland, adjoining the Snake Creek and Uintah districts. Tho camp is improving very fast and begins be-gins to look like a successful mining camp. The side shaft on the Flagstaff Flag-staff is down fifty feet, off from the vein about eighteen or twenty feet Tho intention is to make a winter's job of tho work. |
