Show A Vile Scoundrel. There is an individual in town who brought with him a rank reputation for practicing ' arts to destroy the virtue of little girl?; and it stems he has ccnimene.d the same course in this city. He is charged, by a number of persons, with inviting several young and innocent little girls to the theatre,taking them out to ride, making them presents, and otherwise seeking to acquire influence over them. It is said he boasts of having ruined one girl in this place, and seeks to insinuate in-sinuate himself into respectable families under various plausable pretenses. The atmosphere of Utah has not been healthy for such characters in the past, and we don't think it has greatly altered in this respect The scoundrel referred to is ;walking on dangeious ground, and will consult his safety by makuig himself scarce orsome outraged father may take law into his own hands and administer summary punishment upon the wretch. |
