Show An Incident of a Dark Morning. Morn-ing. One of the unfortuuate features of dark mornings was exemplified on a horse car one day last week, aud furnished fur-nished au inexhaustible source of amusement lo the passengers. Ac-cording Ac-cording lo au informant, two young women, evidently employes in some book-bindery or similar establishment, entered the car in a great hurry, and seated themselves. The general character char-acter of their toilets induced the gentlemen gen-tlemen present to believo that some hasty dressing had been peiformed. One of the lasses, whose natural hair was of that common hue known as brick red, wore a wig of bluish block, and the other, a tall and slender brunette, bru-nette, had a bag of red hair pinned to her head. There was much subdued mirth in the car, and the women knew the cause of it, but with gallantry characteristic char-acteristic of your true Californian, the gentlemen tried not to notice the little mistake. t.
