Show Mr. Joseph S. Saulsbury, who was arrested tho other night for obstructing ob-structing Main street with fences, writes us that he was employed by Dr. Fowler to do the work.and by him alone; that he did it reluctantly, and only when assured by the Doctor "that the City Council had instructed him that if he would fence in the block where Mr. Strickland lay, to prevent travel, ho (Strickland) could remain at his residence," and that Dr. Anderson's name was not mentioned. The young Doctor seems to have been a little too officious in this matter. |
