Editors Herald : At a meeting of the teachers of this city it was resolved that a committee ot three be appointed to draft resolutions expressing their appreciation of the kindness extended to us by parties relative rela-tive to our school excutsion. Said commute respectfully submit the following: fol-lowing: First, That we duly acknowledge, appreciate, and return our sincere thanks to the editors of the Salt Lake Herald, and Isesrret Evening AVicj for always having their columns open for any communication we had for public pub-lic notice, and their efforts to notice them locally and editorially. Second, To superintendent F. Little, Lit-tle, and the officers of the L tah Southern South-ern and Central K. R's, in general, we acknowledge their indefatigable efforts in doing their utmost, sparing neither means nor labor, lor those who would participate in the excursion; alio, in throwing open every door to offer protection pro-tection to the children from the fiercely raging elements. Third, To William Jennings, general gen-eral Morrow, II. Dinwoodey, captain Burt and others, we feci grateful for their assistance in endeavoring to shelter the children in every available nook and corner, to protect them from the severest hail storm of the season. Fourth, To bUhop Stewart and counselors, and the citizens of Draper-ville, Draper-ville, for their untiring efforts to make the party comfuriable.
