The spring is two aud a half mile , inide of the line, and yields about six I gallons of water per hour, i We have boiiic excellent locations and some are being vigorously worked. The vindicator is a huge ledge and be-jiug be-jiug worked with energy. The Isabella ' is avell-defiue 1 ledge, and displays a I fine show of mineral. The boys are I about ten ar twelve feet down on it. iThe Mormon Chief looks excellent. : The David Sheppard, Cookesvillc and "other ledges are looking well, aud ! work on them is being pushed ahead. The ledges in this district, are, us a : whole, well defined veins, not incro de-: de-: pos'ts, as is the case in many districts. 1'he 8- arcity of water is a great drawback here; however, a well is J about to be sunk at or near the centre 1 of the district.
