Show I ' Like Old Times. It looked a little j liko old times yesterday evening to sec a number of prairie schooners driving up East Temple street, preparatory to making up the train and getting ready i for a start. The train consists of ten prairio schooners, with live eight mule teams, two wagons to a team ; owned i by Mr. J. Q. Knowlton, and is freight-! ed with miscellaneous goods for Beep creek. Since railroad communication has been opened between the cast and i west, mule and ox trains have been 'seldom seen in the city. |
