Show New Cooking Apparatus. We yesterday saw a most ingemous apparatus appa-ratus for cooking by steam, in operation opera-tion at Southworth's hotel. By a sim pie contrivance, steam sufficient to cook for a restaurant or hotel is gene rated with one fourth the amount of fuel ordinarily used in a stove, and a great variety of dishes can be cooked in the best style, with despatch and without any offensive odors. The in ventor is Mr. J. 0. Clay. We believe the patent right for the Territory has been purchased by two gentlemen in this city. |
