Show Called. Thos. G. Carson, Esq., of Pittsfield, Mass.. and David Carson, Jr., Esq., of Newburgh, New York, gave us a call yesterday. These gentlemen gen-tlemen are large paper manufacturers, and belong to a family that has made the manufacture of paper a business for seventy years, having been commenced com-menced with the old Berkshire Mills, Dalton, Mass., by David Carson, in 1S01. We took pleasure iu bidding them a hearty welcome to our city, and wish them an agreeable stay while they remain. |
