The drive out, of course, is over the somewhat arid bench cast of the city, whore sage brush yet holds general possession, though ueat farms are shewing themselves, irrigated irriga-ted by the water of l'.migratio:i creek. Ascending a gentle acclivity the grounds of the Asylum are entered, some twenty-four aervs being eue'oscd. and hero much has been done in the time.
