The city authorities ol Ogden having determined to raise Main street, and grade and gra-vel it between the Ogden House and the White House, the principal business portion of the town, grave1 was being hauled for that purpose from the face of the bluff in the rear of Marshal Fife's lot. On Saturday last some indications of gold were found vhere this gravel was being taken out and further washings on subsequent days confirmed the opinion- that , gold was there.
