The difficulty with some people is that they object to pay legitimate bills once, but the Herald office was favored with the presence of a gentleman yesterday who was anxious to pay the same bill twice. It had been paid and duly receipted, but as the transaction had escaped his memory he concluded the money was still due, and wished to "plank down" again.
