Show Actively Env.aoeii. General Be Trobriaud is actively engaged at Provo aiding the Mayor and civil officers in ferreting out the perpetrators of the late outrage. He assisted on Tuesday at the examination of soute witnesses, and otherwise has manifested the strongest desire and made the most energetic efforts to have the ruffians brought to ju.-tice. For this he deserves de-serves the thanks of the people; and to do this he left this city early last Sunday morning. How does the Governor's Gov-ernor's attack on him in his tardily written letter comport with this prompt action of the General ? |
