We have received the following from the publishers : - The Medical In vestigator, a monthly journal of the medical sciences, published pub-lished by C. S. nalsey, CO Lake street, Chicago, $3 per annum. This is a most excellent magazine and should be taken by every medical man and student of medicine. The Little Corporal, " Fighting against Wrong, and for the Good, the True and the Beautiful," published monthly by Sewell & Miller, Chicago ; $1 50 per year. The liveliest, best edited ed-ited and finest got-up juvenile magazine maga-zine that reaches us from the cast. The Song Messenger, published monthly by Boot & Cady, the well-known well-known music publishers, Chicago. No. 1, Volume IX the January number comes to us enlarged and improved, and only &1 per annum. Lovers of music will find it an excellent magazine. maga-zine. The Phrenological Journal, "and life illustrated," edited and published pub-lished by Samuel R. Wells, 3S9 Broadway, Xew York, $3 per year. The Phrenological Journal is one of the most deseivedly popular magazines of the country. The January number we had occasion to notice before, in connection with the article, "The Mormons; Mor-mons; who and what they are." The Bureau, "devoted to the commerce, com-merce, manufacture and general industries indus-tries of the United Spates," is a magazine maga-zine for the business man,' the miner, the farmer, the mechanic and for all; and should be taken by every business man in the country.
