J- L Barfoot, Esq , of the Museum, yester-da yester-da gave us a specimen of fiue magnetic mag-netic iron ore, taken from an immence lead discovered within a few miles of this city by .Mr. I. tvins. It is believed be-lieved to be the best and most easily worked ore yet Run in this Territory Mr. Barfoot also showed us a fine spec imen of purplo-red oxide of copper, very rich and valuable, discovered in Bin Cottonwood, by Mr. L Daniels There is lictle doubt that white some silver aud a little gold are being found, the great mineral wealth ot Utah will consist of the more useful metals : iron copper and lead, with c al.
