Show Bear Lake. We had a visit yesterday yester-day from Wm. Budge, Esq., who had just arrived from the Bear Lake country. Ho repoits everything in a prosperous condition in that region, even tho grasshoppers wero prosper mg, but notwithstanding this drawback there are few places in the Territory with such Due natural facilities as Rich county. As telegraphed a day or two ago, the people of St. Charles have built and launched a handsome pleasure boat on tho lake which is capable ol accommodating twenty-five or thirty persons at a time. What could be more invigorating than a trip to Bear Lake during the hot Summer months, a sail on the beautiful waters, fishing in the lake and rivultos which abound ivith the finest mountain trout. Arid then on to Soda S prings and dr nk the mineral waters. Talk of the pleasures of Baden Baden aud Saratoga they are not a cireu ustance to our B.-ar Lake and Soda Springs. |
