Show TEE ALPHA HINB f Work to Be Continued In the Development Devel-opment of This Valuable Property C E Bradd who has had charge of I the development of the property of I the Alpha Mining company on Granite mountain in Tooele county and who has been in the city during the past two weeks will leave for camp this morning With the intention of resuming resum-ing operations in the exploration of this valuable property in which in the fade of a tunnel that has been run into the mountain for a distance of i nearly 100 feet a 30inch breast of ore is exoosed which will carry average values of 10 in gold to the ton When first uncovered this pay streak was only about two feet wide and in driving in on it a distance of 15 feet it has widened at least six inches while the values have increased which leads to the belief that as depth is at I tained the ledge will not only grow I I larger but that it will soon reach a point where the mine can be classed asa i as-a shipping proposition j Mr Bradd is also interested in the development of other properties on 1 Granite mountain and he has unlimited unlimit-ed faith in the ultimate outcome of this new district where the croppings are large and strong and where there is every indication of the permanency of the mineral deposits At least 25 men are now engaged in I the operation of several properties in this camp Included in this number j are Coe Brothers and their associates who are working the lizzie Lfn from which a shipment was made in March of this year that netted 56 per ton at the smelters and another consignment con-signment is now being taken out and the mine will doubtless report at the samplers with another simiilar shipment ship-ment at anearly day Wash Perkins and son are alsd doing do-ing some effective work in the development I de-velopment of a claim which is an extension I ex-tension of the Lizzie Dean ledge and Mr Bradd states that they have already I al-ready made an excellent showing and that their prospect has all the earmarks ear-marks of opening out into a paying I I I proposition proposio I proposioI I From the Hercules Sam Pollock the superintendent of the Hercules on Lion hill who is in the city on business states that the mine is in fine condition and that now there is hardly any doubt as to the future of the property as large bodies of good milling ore have been exposed in its workings while chutes 01 rich ore are beiner encountered besides which the developments daily being made indicate that the vein will go to the deen and that the mine will in time rank as a heavy producer So far in the working of the mine a body of milling ore has been crosscut cross-cut for a distance of 20 feet without determining its extent while a chimney chim-ney of ore has been disclosed which ranges in value from eight to 2300 ounces silver and from 1 to 16 in gold to the ton Mr Pollock expects t return to the mine Saturday Another Incorporation Articles of incorporation of the Juab
