Show WILL SEE THE SIGHTS Tour of the Delegates From South American States Philadelphia June CThe delegates from cities and towns of Mexico and of the Central and South American states 13 In number who came here to the PanAmerican Trade congress which closed on Friday will leave this city tomorrow morning for their six weeks sightseeIng tour of the United States All the commercial and industrial centres of the eastern and western states and some few of the southern states will be visited Some of the delegates who represented repre-sented trade bodies of cities of the United States at the congress will accompany ac-company the party as will also a few of the officials of the Philadelphia Commercial museums who will look after af-ter the arrangements and details of the tripCommittees Committees of prominent citizens and business men will meet and take charge of the party at the respective j places visited and will direct the movements t move-ments of the visitors in seeing the Ai manufactories business establishments 1 1 and other places of Interest The party will leave here tomorrow morning for Baltimore and special cars attached to the regular train on the Baltimore and Ohio railroad Monday I and Tuesday will be spent In Baltimore s and Washington and on Wednesday they will arrive at New York While r at New York the party will visit Brooklyn Jersey City Newark Paterson Pater-son and other places In the vicinity of the metropolis and will leave on Sunday evening on one of the Sound steamers for Fall river Ten days will be spent in New England returning to New York on June 23 when they will leave at once for the west the first stop to be made at PHtsburg Up to their arrival at New York on June 23 the party will travel in special cars attached to regular trains but from New York through the west and back j again to New York about July IS the party will occupy a special vestibule f Pullman train equipped with all the modern appointments The train will have sleeping cars a dining car smok log car and observation and parlor cars and the visitors Will thus be placed In direct touch with the most advanced ideas of American railroading 1 railroad-ing Leaving Plttsburg the party will so to Dayton O Cincinnati Nashville Tenn St Louis Chicago Milwaukee a I Grand Rapids Detroit Cleveland Buffalo Buf-falo Niagara falls and across New York state to Troy and Albany thence by day boat on the Hudson to New York city The following are the representatives of the Philadelphia museums who will be with the party Dr William P Wilson director Dr Gustav Niederlein chief of the scien j tide department C A Green assistant I chief of the bureau of Information and D N Harper |
