Wilson Explains WASHINGTON Oct 27 Assistlm Postmaster Wilson said tonight concerning con-cerning the lost letter of Hon Thomas Watson which was addressed to Senator Sen-ator Butler Buter uAl the mail for senators andi representatives repre-sentatives I sent either to the senate or the house postoffice As soori as It is received by us it is sent down into the basement of the postoffice building build-ing where a number of men ar6 employed em-ployed to do nothing elsi but handle the congressional niail They send it to the capitol and from there I is de livered Had the letter been handled by our carriers i would simply be preposterous preposter-ous to say that it could have been held for eight days I could not and that is simply all there is to i I do not know the custom followed at the senate postofllce D D
