| Show jane C fisher dead mrs jane christon fisher mother of hon holy john fisher died at the home of her grandson rand soll ir via F fisher sher in bountiful friday evening k jan of old ago age m and general debili debility she had been ailin ailing for about about a month prior to her death two weeks be fore the end came she had a stroke w which partially paralyzed her r right lit side deceased was nearly eighty an nine years old she was born in deptford depthford Dept ford england 0 march 1813 she was married to thomas fisher in 1832 seven children wore were born to them two of them died in infancy one while crossing the plains four came to utah pres snow while on his first mission to en england C land converted her to mormonism and she was baptized into the church in 1811 1841 18 11 her mother was also a member of the church in 1854 she emigrated T to utah with her husband and family they were seven months making 0 the journey and arrived in salt lake city oct while crossing the plains she lost a little daughter 0 one night 0 who fell out of the wa waon wagon on and was run over and killed this took place just west of laramie on deachin reaching utah the family settled in bountiful atif ua where she has since resided the funeral services were held in in the tabernacle in east bountiful f ul sunday jan at 2 p m patriarchs judson tolman anand and edwin pace elder B H roberts and bishop stoker were the speakers six of her grandsons were the pall bearers the services were largely attended her two sons W F of oxford idaho and john survive her her sons and some of her grandsons have served the public in many responsible positions such as legislators 0 mayors cou county n commissioners justices of the pea peace ce etc |
