Show BIMETALLIC UNION ORGANIZED A large number oC gentlemen met in the city hall last evening to organize a bimetallic union in accordance with the suggestion of the late sllver conference con-ference held at Salt Lake A temporary tem-porary organization was effected with Judge Boreman as chairman and Oohn Ledwidge secretary Judge Whipple in an exhasutive address ad-dress explained the objects of the union and the plan suggested by the executive committee on a national bimetallic bi-metallic union was presented It was resolved to form a permanent organization with Hon A J Webber as president and E lA l IMcDaniel as secretary A committee of five consisting con-sisting of Judge Whipple H H Hen derson Mayor Brough A J Webber and Judge Bagley was appointed to draft bylaws and report at a meeting to be held next Monday evening It was announced that Honss A J Warner and J C Sibley would be In Ogden this evening and deliver addresses ad-dresses on the silver question |
