DUCKS ARE MONEY MAKERS Ducks are money makers in every sense of the word and require little attention at-tention They are able to take care of themselves for about eight months of the year provided they are given access ac-cess to the farm Get wo or three this fall and give them a fair trial The pure breeds are much more easily kept than common puddle ducks as they can be profitable produced without ponds The best and most popular breeds are the Pekin Aylesbury Rouen and Cayuga The first two are white while the Cayuga and Rouen have beautiful variegated plumage These breeds are all large individuals sometimes reaching a weight of ten pounds They require no more feed or attention than common ducks and I I will reach maturity at an earlier age James Rankin Mass I
