Show CITIZENS LIGHT COMPANY Heavy Stockholders on the Ground to Receive Rids Charles Boettcher and his business partner Mr Hunter are in the city having come here for the letUng of the I contracts for the erection of Lhe power plant and the purchase of the ground upon which It will be situated for the Citizens Electric company Mr Boett cher was seen at the hotel last night and said that as yet nothing had been done but that matters would so shape themselves that definite action might be announced on Monday It Is said that there are several parties who are ready to bid on the erection of the plant in its entirety while there are various ones who desire to erect the buildings and allow al-low machinery men to put in the fittings L C Trent was observed on the ground last night in close conversation with the party and it Is safe to say that he will be one of the bidders if he has not already al-ready made an offer No one knows just what the plant will cost when It 1 completed but from private pri-vate sources it is gathered that 100000 will be about the figure which fvill be k > J represented by the building and the machinery ma-chinery The ground has been practically practi-cally selected but as yet no announcements announce-ments have been made as to its location That It will go to the western portion of the city Is assured The erection of the ples and the stringing of wires will be considered at a meeting tomorrow and other matters I of importance will be considered |
