Show coal did you ever stop to consider the fact that a stove pipe coated with one inch of soot on the inside allows the flame after it leaves the stove to escape almost entirely without throwing out heat that means the longer z the pipe the greater the loss of heat beat and in case of stoves with long iong pipes in public buildings gs the loss of heat from this cause is tremendous men dous no matter how large the fire the flames u up p the pipe between those walls of soot and the pipe is not as it should be a radiator of heat it is the saine same with a range or a cook stove that a are of ten used although not made for heating purposes so that in winter time it is very desirable that the pipe act as a heater but how can it when almost entirely filled up with soot of course one can clean out the stove pipe once a week or so but of all disagreeable jobs on a cold winter morning ca it is to have to take down the stove pipe and clean it now there is a remedy for all this and simply stated is diamond coal makes no soot at the D L S C Q woods X |
