Show BRECKINRIDGE RETIRED Genera Graham May Also Be Mu tero Out of Service Washington Oct 10The order tiesig natng the general officers to be mustered out of service dated Oct 7 was published officially today and at the head of the list Is the name ot Major General Joseph C Breclilnridge whose name was not in the first publication General Breckin ridge will return to duty on Nov 3 as Inspector general of the army General Brecklnirldge was to have commanded com-manded the First corps whIch just now will be occbpled by Major General James uriegl oesetJf oese l Wilson It Is also understood that there will ho other changes In the commands of army corps statoned In thp south Gen erl Wheeler who will command tIi Fourth corps stated before leaving Washington Wash-ington that he expected to resume his seat In the hose soon after It 1 met General Graham who is to command the second corps has retired as a brIgadier general and the question bas atisen as to whether he shall be continued longer in the volnteer service The attorney gen erl has rendered an opinion that there Is no reason why he should not but there I a feeling among army officers that this would not bo altogether fair to the young men ant it is probable that Generas John C Bates and Cafee wi succeed to the Secold and Fourth corps and General Visof will continue to command the First corps |
