given were of an unusually enjoyable character The reception given by Mr and Mrs Theron Geddes and Miss Geddes stands out most prominent prom-inent y while among other enjoyable affairs were the card party given by Judge and Mrs Le Grand Young the dinner given by Mrs S B Emery and the dance at the home of Mrs Smed ley 000 Saturday so long tabooed by brides and even considered by the old famil tar rhyme as no < day at all is in high favor by brides in Salt Lake this season To get married on Saturday I is the fashion of the moment Society is standing openmouthed with astonishment aston-ishment doorways I door-ways were suspended hanging baskets of trailing vines A bank of palms and plants across one end formed a pretty part of tho decorations The supper room decorations of green and icJ
