oC the Order of Workmen followed the remains of Dr P J McKenna to their last rest resting lug ing place on the hillside at Calvary yesterday afternoon The day da was gloomy Heavy clouds hung overhead and everything seemed in harmony with the mournful dirge from rom band that echoed through the streets as the cortege wended its way wa from the hospital to St Marys Catholic cathedral There an enormous throng had gathered to pay their their last respects to their departed friend So great was the crush that scarce a third of the number could find room In la the edifice and a large num number ber el bO turned away including the prin principal cipal J division of the Elks It was Wag as when the sad pro procession cession ceaton moved away from the hospital where Dr McKenna presided until his untimely death W V W V Hall acted as I marshal When Then West Temple and South Temple streets were reached the Elks and the Knights of ot Columbus were en encountered encountered encountered countered in marching order Headed by a platoon of police and ind a full band discoursing solemn dirges the cortege moved on to the cathedral At A t First South and State streets the Knights and the Elks KIlts fell out of o the procession and with bared heads permitted the hearse heane and mourners carriages to pass taking up a position in the rear Through this movement many of the th Elks were
