the tax of 5 cents per colony was not sufficient to pay the inspector the law provides that he shall receive 3 per day this would necessarily compel him to visit sixty colonies per day which is impossible for the inspector to do IV C call tendered his resignation as justice of the peace for bountiful ire precinct which was re accepted to take effect june the county attorney reported that the death of william page 0 causes a vacancy in the same office in south bountiful the clerk was instructed to write to the authorities of salt lake city and protest against said city unloading dg their
