HORSES CAUSE SMAShUP Delver Delivery Team Run Buns Away ad and Causes Excitement An exciting smashup occurred on State street late yesterday afternoon a as the result of a runaway in which a Walker Brother Brothers delver delivery team fg fig figured t very prominently The runaway started from the Salt Lake Private Hospital at East First South street where the team had been ef eft standing while the driver Will Wi Cracroft deU delivered ered some parcels The hores horses became frightened at the noise made b by the hitching weight which the driver dropped into the rig nd before the theatter later l atter could get In the wagon the team was dashing down the street The They ran at a breakneck speed to State Stat street and around the corner made straight for the door of stables about midway be tween First and Second South streets A horse and bugg buggy belonging to street John ohn Kelton was hitched In front of the stable and came directly in the course of th the running team The resul result was wasa a whirling mixture of hores horses and ri rigs s hore horse wa was knocked fat flat but the shock of the collision served to stop time the runaway team and in a moment a half dozen bystander bystanders had them by bv the heads When the wreck was cleared up the damage damage was found to be a smashed wheels and shafts on bugg and some broken harness The horses bugg were considerably shaken up by the encounter but otherwise were not hurt The injury delvery delivery wagon escaped without hurt I
