sO FATHER William Crowther Has Trouble With I Hs His Boy oy William Crowther an old genteman gentleman 62 yeas years of age who lives at No West North Temple street wa was se severely severely verely beaten wih with a a chair by a son early lat last night The rhe son David Crow Crowther Crowther ther a young man 21 year years of age went home In a drunken condition and j Immediately some difficulty arose be between between tween him and his father The young man be became ame furious and seizing a chair he began to ply It upon his fa father ther unmercifully The latter attempted to get away but before he could do so he had re receIved numerous numerous bruises and several slight cuts upon his head and hands handsOne handsOne One blow wa was ed across the eyes causing them to until one was al almost almost most closed When the father finally succeeded in getting out of the house he ran ran to the home of Officer Gillespi a block away and informed him of the trouble The officer immediately went to the sene scene of the trouble and young Crowther wa was placed arrest He offered no resistance and when it was found that the patrol wagon could not b be goten gotten he quietly walked to police headquarters with the o officer r When seen in jai jail young Crowther denied having father and claimed that he wa was fighting wih with Mit Mitt Woods an around the place wih with whom he had had some difficulty about a trip to the lake He sod said he threw a chair at Woods but he disclaims any attempt to hurt his father The latter latter wa was nevertheless nevertheless less severely injured and he charges the son with doing it
