1895 1893 were read and approved sir mr page P ge of bountiful appeared before the hie court and asked protection from the court against the alic encroachment croach ment on liis his land odthe great salt lake hot springs ry ily company the matter was dismissed for want of jurisdiction selectman rockwood reported that himself and selectman nalder had looked over the road near dear edmund webbs in kaysville Kays ville arid and would recommend that a flume be put iu in across the road and a drain ditch be durr dug on the west side of the street a distiLl distance ce of about six rods to the main creek report received and on motion of selectman hatch the supervisor was authorized tomake to make the improvement in accordance with the recommendation aen dation the same committee reported in the matter of the claim of william blood and the advisability of making the road wider the committee had found that the road in question was considerably traveled the portion east of the bridge put in by william blood was about seventeen feet wide were of the opinion that the road east of said bridge should be made with a view to ascertaining cost of widening the road selectman nalder N older had bad conferred with isaac 11 barton arton the owner of the land mr barton would not sell the land v necessary about 30 square rods for less than they had investigated in regard to mr bloods claim and as the public were getting the benefit would recommend that the claim be allowed the matter of making the road wider the committee recommend be referred to the attorney to cerlian ascer as tian the probable cost of condemning the land and report at next session selectman rockwood knockwood Kock wood reported that himself and judge brandon had bad investigated vesti t gated in relation to the petition of robert ure et al but having not seen all parties interested would recommend that S 11 ellis and robt ure be cited to appear before the court at its next session the recommendation ommen dation was adopted A communication from thomas F r roueche of maysville kaysville Kays Nays ville calling the attention of the court to the pecuniary condition of the family of william barnes three of which were blind 1 one of which was helpless after consideration on motion of selectman hatch the clerk was instructed to pay to mrs rose itose E barnes per month for the support of her blind children win 1 H 1 charles john and james barnes until further ordered by the court payment to date from feb 1895 judge brandon and selectman rockwood reported ported ro they had bad looked over the road near Cle verlys and found that the work done on said road had been done ill all right so BO tar far as it goes but needs making wider and would recommend that the same be made wider as soon as practicable
