Show Fanningfon By KATHRYN JENNINGS 451-2027 E.H. Ballstaedt of north Farmipgton, celebrated his 75th birthday on Aug. 26 with an open house at his home. He greeted guests in the beautiful backyard and more than 250 people, relatives and friends, came to wish him well. A daughter, Pamela and husband Steve Brophy and family attended; Claudia, another daughter was out-of-town, and son, Michael, was unable to come from his home in Montana. The Winslow Fan Sr. family reunion was held on Friday at Cherry Hill in Farmington, with approximately 200 guests present. Family members came from Utah, California, Idaho and Arizona. There was camping, golfing, water sliding for entertainment and of course dinner and social hours. Mary Lou Lloyd, Farmington, is secretary and was in charge of activities. Robert Sturm, Provo, is president presi-dent of this organization. Farmington 10th Ward was reorganized recently with Bishop James Fulks; Glen Leonard, first counselor and DelwinOrr, second counselor. The ward will have an overnight over-night family outing at Cherry Hill Sept. 11-12. On the 11th there will be golfing, swimming, swim-ming, water sliding and other fun events. Dinner will be served in the evening and later there will be a movie. On the 12th, breakfast break-fast will be served and guests can leave after they have enjoyed en-joyed more of the activities. The committee in charge of the event are Rowena Call, Lucy McCullough and Rick Anderson. The Second Ward Primary held an ice cream social Aug. 26 at the home of John and Liz Green. Entertainment was furnished fur-nished by "Sun, Shade and Rain," a singing group. Liz Geen is president of the Primary with Gay Ross, first counselor; and Pam Whiteley, second counselor. Glenna Grandia is the secretary. The Steed Creek Daughters of UPC will meet Sept. 22 at the home of Mary Myers at 7:30 p.m. Liz Green is captain of the camp. The Compton Bench DUP will meet Sept. 16 for the first fall meeting. Mary Myers will have houseguests this week. Udell and Doris Pace, former Farmington Farm-ington residents living in San Paulos, Calif, will be the guests of Mary, sister of Doris, also they will visit with Ken and Beth Christensen, Amanda Griffith in Bountiful and Mel-vin Mel-vin and Joanne Griffith in Fruit Heights. The Junior Literary Club will have a summer social Sept. 3 at 7 p.m There will be a dinner at the home of Ruth Brown with Mary Jonhson, Mary Myers, June Swaner and Juanita Thomas assisting. : JP MR.
