Show Soccer Team Still Winning By DAVE WIGHAM SALT LAKE CITY The Bountiful reserve soccer team of the adult soccer league continued con-tinued their winning ways last Saturday with a 4-1 victory over Alemania of Salt Lake. THE SALT Lake side scored first but Paul Nestman. an ex-Woods Cross star, tied the score up just before the half. Paul made a fine solo run down the left wing and then slipped the ball past the goalkeeper goal-keeper at the near post. The second half was all Bountiful, as the local side poured in three more goals while holding their opponents to nothing. Nestman scored two more in the second half with Ken Rozema. an ex-Viewmont ex-Viewmont star, added another. THE WIN leaves the Bountiful Boun-tiful side with a 4-1 record and puts them in second place in league standings. Other members mem-bers of the team include Steve Smith. Joey Smith, KenMurri, Steve Johnson, Tom Ross, Dave Wigham, Steve Riley, Matt Eiting. Jeff Maughan. Billy Wade. Wayne Williamson. William-son. Kent Wincgar, Dwayne Klien, and Mike Angus. The side has a bye this week and will play again on their home field on Oct. 24 with a 1:30 p.m. kick off against a strong Murray team. Their home field is the new soccer field right by Bountiful City Hall. |
