Show FOURTHCLASS POSTMASTERS I Number of Appointments Made During Three Mouths of this Administration WASHINGTON June Duringthe first three months of the present administration tion ended June 3 the total number of fourthclass postmasters appointed was 6537 of which 4672 were to fill vacancies caused bJ resignations and deaths and 1865 by removals urine the corresponding corre-sponding period of Harrisons administration adminis-tration the total number appointed was 5226 or 1686 more than were appointed during the last three months Of these 2659 were to fill vacancies caused by resignations and death and 5567 by removals The number of appointments ap-pointments made on resignations is 2015 greater during the first quarter of the present administration than during the last and the number made on removals was 3502 less than during Clevelands risons first quarter as compared with Har |
