Show Services Held For Marilyn Thurman Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn Kae DeSpain Thurman. Thur-man. 35. of 28I0 E. 2700 N.. Layton were held Monday, April 27, 1981 in the Layton 29th Ward Chapel with Bishop Frank Blair officiating. MRS. THURMAN died Thursday, April 23, 1981 in the St. Benedict's Hospital in Ogden of cancer. She was born June 30, 1945 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Harold B. and Mary Norris DeSpain. On Sept. 14, 1967 she married Donald A. Thurman Thur-man in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. SHE HAD lived in Sandy, Salt Lake City, Clinton and Munich, Germany before moving to Layton 2'j years ago. She was a graduate of Jordan Jor-dan High School where she was a Sterling Scholar in homemaking. She attended BYU. - , She was a member of the Layton 29th Ward where she had been a teacher in the Relief Society and Primary organizations. organiza-tions. She had also served as junior Sunday School coordinator coordi-nator and as YWMIA secretary. sec-retary. SURVIVING are her husband, hus-band, Layton; one son and two daughters, Kevin J. Thurman, Jana M. Thurman and Kimber-ly Kimber-ly A. Thurman, all of Layton; her moher of Sandy; one brother. Courtney H. De-Spain, De-Spain, Sandy. Interment was in the Memorial Memo-rial Gardens of the Wasatch in Uintah. |
