Show TlREE DANCING PARTIES Prof dirts Hop hlttemoroa Party and the Social Evening Club Ball A pleasant little hop was given last ovoning in the G A R hall by Professor Clift There were about forty couples present who enjoyed a nice programme of sixteen numbers tripped to the strains of Larsons quadrille band Lust evening Youngers hall was crowded to its utmost capacity The occasion was the second ball given by the Social Even ing club There wero about two hundred couples prcsent and the scene was one of great animation The hall is a large one but it was barely sufficient to allow of sui ficient dancingapace for space the numbers pros ent entThere There were nineteen dances on the pro gramme besides extras and all were enraged en-raged in with the utmost enthusiasm Olsons band furnished the music in its usual good style A sumptuous supper was provided Mr Kennedy of the California restaurant did he catering and did it well The table in the large dining room was beautifully set out and the viands were of the choicest The Social club is promising a great success suc-cess and its fortnightly dances are becom ing quite a feature the social swim The committee for last nights entertain ment was composed of the following gen tlemen William Lloyd D M Griffiths J Acoinb A E Granam J HoppenbucK E Pickering J Worthen R Scbank A Palmquist J Leatham |
