Show FREE FROM OBJECTION A System Which Insures Freedom From Delays and Law Suits The discussion we referred to in our I issue of January 1 respecting the merits of the abstract system as compared with the title insurance system has awakened much interest It seems to be the general opinion that titles to property should be free from objection and that any system which will insure freedom from delays or law suits should be welcomed One prominent prom-inent business man was heard to say yesterday yes-terday that it would be a great aid to business prosperity if all tho titles were insured A man with an insurance policy could sell his property without delay while the man with an abstract would have to wait until the title could be examined exam-ined In New York Philadelphia Chicago Chi-cago Boston and other cities title insurance insur-ance is the only basis upon which property passes It is said that the New York City ritle Insurance company employs forty attorneys as assistants to the principal attorney The Utah Title Insurance and Trust company of this city is a very strong corporation It has employed as its attorneys attor-neys the wellknown firm of BennettMar shall Bradley The general opinion seems to be that it is good business sense to have the title to your property insured by a company which makes its opinion good in a financial sense than to trust to the opinion of any one man |
