| Show In the House WASHINGTON Sept 13The approval of the journal of Tuesdays proceedings was the first question The clerk called the rolland roll-and the jouraat was approved yeas 150 naysO the clerk noting quorum Every Democrat present and not paired voted In the affirmative The clerk then proceeded with the reading of the journal ot Wednesdays Wednes-days proceedings which OFarrell of I Virginia demanded be read in full This lead to a sharp passage between Speaker Reed and OFarrell in which the latter said he was responsible to his constituents not to the speaker Reed said ho was responsible re-sponsible to the country The journals of Wednesday Thursday and Friday were read and approved without objection and the House proceeded to pay their last tributes trib-utes of respect to the memory or the late Senator Beck of Kentucky After addresses ad-dresses by Breckenridge Dunnell of Minnesota Min-nesota McCreary of Kentucky Stone ot Kentucky Blount of Georgia McMillin of Tennessee Enderson of Illinois Caruth of Kentucky and Hooker of Mississippi Mis-sissippi the House adjourned |
