Show Bsstlf ul Springs Changes Uame To Meaflous The Bountiful Springs Golf Course located at 1100 West, West Bountiful, is announcing a battery of changes. THE FIRST change comes in the form of a new pro-manager. pro-manager. New to Bountiful Springs, but not new to the golfing scene, Toni Olsen. formerly for-merly of Canyon Hills Park Golf Course in Nephi, will manage the golf course. Mr. Olsen began his golf career at American Fork High School winning back to back state championships in the class B division and Class B low medalist honors at the 64 BYU invitational. Furtherance Further-ance of Mr. Olsen's career came with the designing and construction of Canyon Hills Golf Park in Nephi, where he later became the head golf professional pro-fessional from 1973-78. AFTER A short respite from golf, Bountiful Springs welcomes wel-comes Toni Olsen back into the golf world and salutes his influence on our programs. Secondly we announce a name change from the familiar Bountiful Springs to "Spring Meadows Golf Course." With the change of names -ernes a whole new face for the golf course with a major redesign and construction project. THE NEW golf course will consist of a 3,000 yard, par 35, nine hole track and a welcome enlargement of the driving range. According to Mr. Olsen, "The construction will be accomplished entirely during dur-ing the 81 playing season and will not interrupt play any noticeable amount, in fact." Mr. Olsen says, "We'll have the new course finished and playable before most players realize we are under construction. construc-tion. Basically because most of the new development will be in areas which do not presently come into play." "Spring Meadows" invites everyone in to see what is happening, hap-pening, meet new people, check out the projected new course design and leisurely round of golf. |
