Show A SAD BEREAVEMENT Mrs Florence M Todd died at Logan December 7 188 > aged 20 years 6 months and days Mrs Todd was the daughter of B W and Olivia Pratt Driggs She was born at Pleasant Grove Juno ISO > Florence Flor-ence was one of those bright and intelligent intelli-gent women whom to know was to love She possessed rare attainments She attended the Brigham Young academy at Provo for number of terms and graduated at the Deseret university of Salt Lake after which she taught school for one year at Pleasant Grove She married Douglas M I Todd on July 13th 1SS7 She has been avery a-very active member in society taking prominentparts in concerts theatricalsetc She had resided since her marriage at San taquin Utah county and Logan where her husband has been engaged in teaching school Her loss will be felt by a large circle of relatives and acquaintances and her husband and parents together ivith her near kindred arc plunged into the deepest sorrow Her remains will be interred in-terred at her old home Pleasant Grove by the side of her four sisters who have gone before her Pleasant Grove is in deep mourning over one itsmostaccomplishcd daughters Mrs Todd leaves two small children one girl and a boy the latter only five weeks old Agreat number of her associates as-sociates went to Lehi junction to meet the train bearing her remains and every mark of esteem has been shown both here and at Logan Public schools have been closed and houses of business put up their shutters shut-ters out of the great respect for the young lady Apostle John W Taylor Prof K G Maeser Bishops George Halliday and John Brown were the speakers and dwelt upon her virtues and in a consoling manner administered ad-ministered comfort by words to the bereaved be-reaved household The ward meeting house was filled with mourners Memorial services were held at Logan B Y college at 1 p m yesterday the 9th same hour as the funeral at Pleas not Grove |
