Show STARTLING DISCLOSURE Inspector Bonfield and Captain Bchaak to be Dismissed CHICAGO January 17The Times tomorrow to-morrow will say that within the past week has been promised on behalf of Mayor Roche that he onld dismiss from office for corruption and dishonesty dis-honesty Inspector Bonfield and Captain Cap-tain Bchaak the two police officers so widely known through their connection connec-tion with Haymarset riot and the hanging of the Anarchists This announcement an-nouncement is made in reply to a proposition today from Mayor Roche to the Times asking that all evidence be submitted to three wellknown citizens to determine deter-mine whether the Times demand for the immediate suspension of the accused ac-cused be accredited to the pending court for trial The Times will allege that sufficient proof was some days ago eubmititd to the mayors intimate associates as-sociates and that the Times will not be obliged to the premature exposing of certain proof necessary to the proper defense of the suits brought against them The paper claims it is not yet through with the extraordinary disclosure dis-closure and promises to present to the public additional evidence reflecting not only on Bonfield and Schaak but I also on others |
