THE PTA presented the idea of an "Older Friends Day" to the teachers of Oak Hills and they enthusiastically decided to make it a week long event. The kindergarten kindergar-ten children brought friends all week long and the sixth grade completed their activity on Jan. 29. Mitzi Hancuff, Oak Hills PTA president, stated that the purpose of the event was to give the children's older friends and relatives an opportunity oppor-tunity to get acquainted with Oak Hills School and teachers. They observed the children at their every day school work tasks. MANY OF these special friends stayed for school lunch with the children and many were seen playing together during recess on the playgrounds. play-grounds.
