Show INTENDED IMPROVEMENTS Water System Improvements. Improve-ments. Construction of a 10-inch water line complete with necessary gate valves, fire hydrants and appurtenances along the East side of 1250 West Street from the northern boundary of the Special Improvement District to a point approximately 350 feet north of Parrish Lane. Construction Cons-truction of a 10-inch water line complete with necessary gate valves, fire hydrants, a highway crossing, a railroad crossing, and appurtenances from a point on 1250 West Street approximately 350 feet north of Parrish Lane going east crossing the freeway and connecting to the culinary water line on Parrish Lane approximately 900 feet west of 400 West Street. If necessary or advisable, rights-of-wav or other property rights may be acquired by purchase or otherwise in order to make the above improvements. It is estimated that the entire water system improvements will include approximately 5,400 linear feet of 10 inch pipe, four 10 inch gate valves, 9 fire hydrants and one - railroad crossing. Sewer System Improvements. Improve-ments. The construction of an 8-inch 8-inch sewer line and necessary manholes along the west side of 1250 West Street from a point approximately 300 feet north of Parrish Lane north to a point approximately 150 feet south of the northern boundary boun-dary of Industrial Park Special Improvement District. Dis-trict. The construction of an 8-inch sewer line, necessary manholes and a railroad crossing from 1250 West Street at a point approximately approxima-tely 1000 feet north of Parrish Lane going west and crossing the D&RG Railroad to the outfall line on the west side of the railroad tracks. Participation Par-ticipation to the extent of approximately $35,000 in the construction of an outfall line consisting of a lift station, force main and flow main with necessary manholes and appurtenances from a point approximately 1,000 feet south of the point where the west side of the D&RG Railroad right-of-way intersects inter-sects the north boundary of the district, and from said point going thence south along the west side of the D&RG Railroad right-of-way to the southern boundary of the district, it being an-ticfpated an-ticfpated that the remaining balance of the construction costs of said outfall line will be paid by the South Davis County Sewer Improvement District. If necessary or advisable, ad-visable, rights-of-way or other property rights may be acquired by purchase or otherwise in order to make the above improvements. It is anticipated that a flow main will be constructed by the South Davis County Sewer Improvement District to connect con-nect the proposed outfall line within the Industrial Park with the existing sewer main on Porter's Lane. The cost of construction of the flow main from Porter's Lane to the southern boundary of the district dis-trict will be borne by the South Davis County Sewer Improvement District. To complete the intended sewage system improvements within the district, it is anticipated that approximately 4,100 linear feet of 8-inch sewer pipe, 12 4-foot diameter manholes, 2 railroad crossings, cross-ings, 4,000 feet of sewer pipe of appropriate size for the outfall line and a lift station will be retfuired, as well as other materials and supplies for related improvements. Storm Drainage System. The construction of storm channels with appropriate street and railroad crossings in the following locations : 1. Beginning at a point approximately 100 feet north of Parrish Lane and going thence north along the west side of the Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way to a point approximately 800 feet north of Parrish Lane. 2. Beginning at a point approximately 500 feet north of Parrish Lane on the west side of Union Pacific Railroad right-of-way and going thence westerly across the district and crossing the D&RG Railroad at a point approximately 600 feet north of Parrish Lane. 3. ESTIMATED COST The total estimated cost of all improvements for which assessments will be levied against property within the district is $328,000. In addition, addi-tion, it is anticipated that South Davis County Sewer Improvement District will pay costs in excess of $35,000 for the construction of the outfall line and lift station within the district and the costs for construction of improvements situated outside out-side the district which provide a connection for the proposed sewage outfall line with existing facilities on Porter's Lane. The $328,000 shall be paid by a special tax to be levied against property within the district which may be affected by or specially benefited by the proposed improvements. It is intended to assess for costs of the water system, the sewage system, and the storm drainage improvements according to area.
