Show fl More Tribune Criticism The rascally Tribune denies that it is in the habit of allowing agents to write criticisms on their own shows and denies de-nies that Haverlys agent wrote the notice on the minstrels We were well aware that it would try to lie out of the matter but we hardly supposed it would be ass enough to accuse THE HERALD of the very thing we charge it with doing Mr Wright Haverlys agent applied to THE HERALD for permission to write the article on the minstrels and he was promptly refused He told a well known gentleman of this city that he had written the Tribunes criticism and we think everyone will prefer to believe him in preference to the notorious liars on the paper itself Mr Wright is not by J any means the first agent who has been allowed to puff his own performance perform-ance in the Tribune the statement of the flapping eared rep9rter that the Tribune will continue to give the best musical and dramatic criticisms in the future as it has done in the past may not sound like it but it is meant to be funny to those who have followed the past utterances of the sheet it will prove sidesplitting |
