Four teams have been eliminated from the double elimination tournament. tour-nament. Bountiful, Viewmont Cardinal, Brighton and Skyline have all dropped two contests. The Viking Gold team has victories over Bountiful, Ben Lomond and Cottonwood to remain unblemished. The Bountiful game was 15-0 while the other two games went into overtime before the Vikes pulled away. They downed a stubborn Ben Lomond squad 6-5 and then nipped Cottonwood Cotton-wood 5-4 on Saturday. The tournament has caused some people to wonder what the governing body was thinking of when they drew it up. As far as league standings went, Viewmont Gold was undefeated and Ben Lomond was right behind them, yet the way the tournament was set up, these two powers met on the second night. LAST YEAR the main problem with the hockey had been the fighting that was going on, but stricter rules and enforcement this year has put the fighting players in problems and has curtailed any extra curricular activity in hockey.
