Show CITTWAL fa CQNVEN J 1 TiON h ji EIGHTH DAY Tuesday April J5 2 pm The convention met pursuant to adjournment President Smith in the chair There were sixt3one delegates present The minutes of the last session were read and Mr J S Page asked to be excused ex-cused and Mr H G Boyle the alternate al-ternate from Utah County being present was sworn in by Hon John T Caine Mr D H Wells chairman of the committee of twentyone on revision revi-sion made a full report and recommended recom-mended that a committee of five be appointed to superintend the election elec-tion on the question of the adoption of the constitution Mr Rawlins moved that the convention con-vention go into a committee of the whole to facilitate the consideration of this report Mr Bryan moved that no member be allowed to sp ak twice on any question before the house Received no second Mr Thurman moved that only the first speaker on any question be allowed al-lowed the privilege of speaking more than once on any subject Carried Moved and seconded that the President be chairman of the committee com-mittee of the whole Carried The secretary proceeded to read the constitution as the report of the committee after which the committee com-mittee rose Mr Wells moved that before final adjournment a committee of five be appointed on memorial to the President Pres-ident of the United States and Congress The convention adjourned until 10 a m Wednesday |
