I f f J ' ' S ' ' ' ' ' ,r , ', 1 ill ihtiilrf-ltfnrtrfrnff-tonnIM--i'-1-Wrv,M VICTORIA MORRIS Victoria Morris returns to Utah's theatre scene as Mither Ann in Primised Valley Playhouse's Play-house's world premiere of "Along the Way" which runs Sept. 16-Oct. 9. THE FORMER Vicky Whipple, daughter of Albert and Alice Whipple, was featured fea-tured as Anna in Viewmont High's "King and I" in 1969. After receiving a four year music scholarship at the University Uni-versity of Utah, Vicky portrayed por-trayed Fruma Sarah in "Fiddler "Fid-dler on the Roof and "Man of La Mancha's" housekeeper at Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Victoria worked with the Utah Symphony as Micaela in "Carmen" as a soloist with the Mormon Youth Symphony and Chorus. w I THE SAN Francisco Opera ; awarded Victoria third place in I the national auditions during I the Merola Opera program '' where she also received the most gifted singer award. Before graduating in music performance from the University Univer-sity of Utah Vicky married Gary Morris. After Gary and Vicky graduated from the "U" they moved to San Jose, Calif. VICKY magnified her singing sing-ing ability in the San Francisco Bay area with concert series, Santa Clara Chorale and with regional musical organizations. organiza-tions. Currently Vicky is excited ex-cited about the starting of her vocal studio here in the Bountiful Boun-tiful area, j Vicky is enjoying working with other Davis County residents resi-dents in the production of "Along the Way." Bryan Bowles, Bountiful High School drama instructor, stars as her brother. Beautiful Lissa Woodbury captures Richard Ballantyne's heart as Hulda I Clark. Kent and Brent Burr j and Thad Robinson are young men in the children of the Promised Valley. Kent, Brent and Thad are featured as Davie, boy on boat and Brigham H. Young respec- tively. i |
